Velvet SkinMaker® Serum – CSW 007-89

This velvety soft essence invigorates the skin with a high content of antioxidants while reinforcing the skin’s natural barrier. This serum is formulated with The SkinMaker®, a breakthrough technology that intelligently and effectively rebuilds and regenerates the skin barrier function via its smart, targeted system of action. Colorless Jojoba Oil is a cold-pressed, pure, liquid wax of the highest quality that closely resembles the skin’s natural sebum. It acts as a natural skin conditioner without leaving behind a greasy feel. Cosmosil B has a very high oxidative stability state and contains exceptionally high Vitamin E content. Stabylen 30 polymer offers good thickening efficiency, emulsion stabilization, and sensory modification to this serum which is emulsified by naturally derived olive esters.

Instructions

Phase A – In main vessel, combine Phase A ingredients in formula order with propeller mixing at 400 to 500 rpm. Disperse the Stabylen 30 by sprinkling slowly on the surface of the water. Do not allow lumps to form. Let it mix for 15 to 20 minutes until fully dissolved. Adjust to desired pH using NaOH 40% aq. solution. Note: Batch will thicken with addition of NaOH. Heat solution to 60-65°C. Phase B – In a separate vessel, combine Phase B ingredients in formula order under propeller mixing and begin heating to 60-65°C. Once both phases are at desired temperature, add Phase B to Phase A under a low shear speed and let it mix for 10 to 15 minutes until fully uniform. Discontinue heat and switch to homogenizer. Homogenize for 30 seconds at 2,500 rpm to ensure adequate uniformity. Phase C – Once solution is uniform and temperature is below 40°C, add Phase C to Phase AB under propeller mixing. Phase D – Add Phase D to Phase ABC with continuous mixing. Transfer to a holding vessel.
