Leading chemical distributor completes sixth certified NACD verification, further investing in strategic quality initiatives

Coast Southwest, Inc., an ICIS Top 100 Chemical Distributor for fourteen consecutive years, announces that the company successfully passed its NACD Responsible Distribution® verification for the current three-year cycle. This latest milestone reaffirms Coast Southwest’s commitment to the health, safety, and security of its employees and customers, community, and the environment.
Responsible Distribution is the National Association of Chemical Distributor’s (NACD) third-party-verified environmental, health, safety, and security program. Through certification, members demonstrate their pledge to continuous performance improvement in every phase of chemical storage, handling, transportation, and disposal.

The Responsible Distribution program requires third-party verification of facilities against a set of guiding principles. Those standards include strict adherence to widely accepted industry and business practices and participation with interested entities in creating responsible laws, regulations, and systems to help safeguard our communities, workplaces, and environment.
