The Chemical Industry Council of California (CICC) held a Board of Directors meeting early this week to elect new board members for the next two-year term and to elect two new members to the Executive Committee.

Jillian W. Cimo, vice president of Coast Southwest, was nominated and subsequently elected as the incoming Chairperson of CICC. These elections were announced Wednesday at the commencement of the CICC Annual Meeting for all members.

“The Chemical Industry Council of California is invaluable to both large and small chemical manufacturers, distributors, and allied businesses throughout California,” Ms. Cimo said. “CICC provides an effective means for businesses to coalesce and advocate for sound public policies that affect our industry. I am honored to be elected chairperson by my co-board members and I look forward to advancing the mission of CICC.”
