IS WHITE OIL SAFE TO USE?
Yes. White oils are regulated and must pass a series of rigorous tests to be certified. In particular, white mineral oil that is used in the cosmetic industry is highly refined and purified.
DOES WHITE OIL CLOG PORES?
No. Comedogenicity is the tendency of a material to clog a skin pore. Cosmetic grade white mineral oils have been shown to be non-comedogenic and will not on their own clog pores1.
DOES WHITE OIL DRY OUT SKIN?
No. Mineral oils actually work as a barrier between the skin and the air. Because mineral oil molecules are large, they do not absorb into the skin, and therefore can prevent water from naturally leaving your body through your skin. They will not dry out the skin or cause premature aging.
