Instructions

Phase A – In main vessel, add deionized water and begin slow prop mixing. Dissolve the EDTA until clear. Slowly add the carbomer, avoiding pooling and introducing air. Allow the powder to wet and dissolve throughout the water. Once homogeneous and dissolved, add Phase B in order. (Solution may become hazy.) Premix Phase C, and then add to Phase AB. Add Phase D to Phase ABC. (Batch will thicken slightly.) Add Phase E, followed by Phase F. Continue mixing to become uniform. Add Phase G. (Some viscosity drop may be noticeable.) Add Phase H. Batch will thicken and may need a side sweep. Add Phase I. Transfer to main vessel.
