SS: One of the biggest advantages of Endipearl® PK3 is its ease of use, which can save formulators time. Traditionally, the creation of pearling with a flaked product like EGMS (INCI: Glycol Stearate) and EGDS (INCI: Glycol Distearate) can be a finicky process for formulators. The creation of pearl from a flaked product is very fussy. The rate of cooling and mixing affects the crystal size and shape which are the critical properties of pearl creation and pearl stability.
However, Endipearl® PK3 does not need to be heated or melted like a flaked product to achieve pearling. This makes for a faster, more efficient formulation process. Using a liquid cold blend pearl like Endipearl® PK3 improves efficiency both in the lab and in production.
