40 OIL is a food-grade, white mineral oil. It meets the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) per 21 CFR 172.878 and 21 CFR 178.3620(a). It is used in personal care and cosmetic formulations. White oils make for ideal blending base fluids across personal care, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
