Instructions

Phase A – Add Phase A to main vessel with shear mixing. Begin heating to 75°C-80°C. Phase B – In a separate vessel, add Phase B with shear mixing and begin heating to 75°C-80°C. Phase C – When Phase B reaches desired temperature, add Phase C to Phase B and continue mixing with heat to 75°C-80°C. Hold heat and ensure uniformity of sunscreens. Once both vessels reach 75°C-80°C add Phase BC to Phase A with high shear mixing. Begin cool down. Phase D – Premix Phase D in a separate vessel. When main vessel has cooled to 45°C-50°C add Phase D to main vessel and continue mixing until uniform. Phase E – Add Phase E to main vessel and continue shear mixing until uniform. Phase F – When batch has cooled below 40°C, add Phase F under high shear mixing. Note: Allot time for batch to thicken and reach uniformity. Transfer to final container.
