Nordic Summer Berry Gel Lotion – CSW 008-03

EASYGEL SOL creates the body and cushion of a gel with its improved dispersion properties and emulsion stabilization. Nordic Beauty® Lingonberry Dispersion acts as an antioxidant using natural super fruit extract to help regenerate skin cells and help reduce the signs of aging. Cosmosil B incorporates natural fatty acids to contribute anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties, working in combination with Coconut Olein to moisturize and soften the skin. Olivatis 15 provides excellent o/w emulsion stabilization and imparts a light, non-tacky, silky feel.

Phase A – In main vessel, combine Phase A ingredients in formula order with propeller mixing at 400 to 500 rpm. Disperse the EASYGEL SOL slowly in a metered fashion using high shear mixing. Do not allow lumps to form. Mix for 10 to 15 minutes until a clear, uniform gel forms. Continue to add the remaining Phase A ingredients. Phase B – In a separate vessel, combine Phase B ingredients in formula order under propeller mixing until uniform. Add Phase B to Phase A with speed of 250 to 280 rpm. Once complete, discontinue propeller mixing and switch to homogenizer. Homogenize for 30 seconds at a speed of 2,500 rpm. Phase C – Once solution is uniform, add Phase C to Phase AB under propeller mixing. Transfer to a holding vessel.
