Creamy Smooth SPF-15 – CSW 007-43

This soft, creamy sunscreen spreads easily. Olive-based emulsifiers create a pleasant application and after-feel. Creagel® Crystal TN is a transparent solvent for organic UV-filters with a light skin feel. Novatext® Velvet has a cushiony and rich feel. It reduces greasiness and shine, creating a matte effect for formulations.

Instructions

Phase A – In main vessel, add Phase A, mix, and heat to 75°C. Phase B – In a separate vessel, add Phase B, mix, and heat to 75°C. At temperature, increase mixing speed and add phase B slowly to Phase A. Discontinue heat and cool to 60°C Phase C – Add Phase C to Phase AB with mixing at 500 rpm until uniform. Phase D – Add Phase D to Phase ABC with mixing at 500 RPM. The solution will become slightly viscous. Continue to cool to 40°C. Phase E and F – Add Phase E and F to Phase ABCD. Phase G – Add Phase G to Phase ABCDEF and mix until uniform. Cool to 25-30°C and transfer to holding vessel.
