CC Cream – CSW-001-18

The CC Cream has color correcting, evening out skin tone. This light feeling cream also contains sunscreens and tinted moisturizing properties without giving a heavy feel or drag upon application. It has properties of long wear and water resistance with natural compounds such as cocoa butter, zea mays corn starch, and glycerin, imparting a non-greasy feel.

Instructions

  1. Fill main vessel with Phase A. Begin heating.
  2. In side vessel, add Phase B, slurry, and add to Phase A at 45°C continue to heat to 75-80°C.
  3. In a separate vessel, add Phase C in order and heat.
  4. As Phase C is heating, at 45-50°C add Phase D to Phase C. Mix until uniform and continue heating to 75-80°C. When both oil (Phase CD) and water (Phase AB) phases reach 75-80°C, slowly add oil phase to main vessel with moderate mixing. When added, allow to mix for 3-5 minutes, then homogenize for 1-2 minutes. Begin cooling batch.
  5. At 60°C, add Phase E to the batch.
  6. At 40-45°C add Phase F to batch. (Note: Premix Phase F in a separate vessel, then add to batch.) Continue mixing and cooling.
  7. Add Phases G and H to the batch.
  8. At 30-35°C, add Phase I and then homogenize for 1-2 minutes.
